Recycling

The Borough of Milton is an active participant in the growing environmental movement toward responsible solid waste management.  Curbside recycling is done once a month and a monitored drop off site is located behind the Public Works garage and is open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Residents pay $24.00 annually for this service, which also includes annual leaf and Christmas tree pick up as well as semi-annual brush pick-up.  A listing of materials to be recycled and the curbside collection schedule is listed below and is also available at the Borough Office.  Jay Bortz, Public Works Director, is the Coordinator of the Recycling Program.

The Drop-off Site is located on Race Street, east of the railroad overpass, behind the Borough Garage, and is open Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
